How it will work now.
On October 27th you will find a new section in Affiliate Tools called Display templates using WebAPI . Now in order to use the scripts described here you have to generate your own secure code. It’s generated simply by clicking on the generate button on the ‘Display templates using WebAPI’ page. The secure line of parameters that will be generated is unique for every affiliate and grants you access to the scripts.

Add this line to the end of your request when accessing TemplateMonster catalog via HTTP:http://www.templatemonster.com/webapi/templates_screenshots4.php?delim=|&from=12&to=30&
keyword=hosting&sort_by=price&currency=EUR&Your_line_goes_here

You don’t have to add your secure code to the end of request in case you are using XML API.

During the period from October 27th till November 24th you will be able to access the script both with and without your secure code. Those affiliates who won’t generate the code till November 24th won’t have access to the scripts accordingly.

Presently after the new registration process was implemented, we do not accept affiliates who don’t have websites or have the coming soon websites. Buying the ready-made affiliate shops from templatereseller.org won’t help you, so please don’t.  If you are an affiliate- you can freely download and use them from your affiliate account, in case you plan to become an affilite but don’t have a website yet- better pay the fee the Templatereseller.org is asking for “their product” to your developer or some person to help you build a good website.

We prepared a small report for you about MTS project, tasks completed and future arrangements.

1. New system of affiliate registration. Every application is now manually reviewed be manager.
2. One of the plans for September- cleaning our affiliate database. We’ll be removing the inactive affiliates in order to provide better support.
3. Google Checkout has been added as a payment option and is now available for all affiliates.
4. We are planning the upload the new design for MTS2 in the next several weeks to this location http://betamytemplatestorage.com. We hope you’ll like it.
5. We are almost complete with the new ready made affiliate shops. In about week time we’ll start the testing with those affiliates who agreed to take part in testing some time ago.
6. We have created a widget for Wordpress websites. It’s still a little bit simple but we are working on improvements that will allow choosing the types and categories of templates one can display.
7. We have launched the new product- premium flash templates using Papervision technology.
8. We have prepared several templates from Jaguar, hope that was a nice addition.
9. Our developers are studying Magento and we plan adding the Magento templates in the nearest time.

Having this in mind, we decided to take this step. During the next week we are going to cancel the open registration of affiliates, all the new affiliates who would like to register will be reviewed and only those people/companies having set websites and good website designs and ready to add something new to our system will be approved to register.  Affiliate program will still remain free. Quality will be our main and the only principle.

After the test period and different types of updates inside the affiliate system we hope to built a strong affiliate community of those who are willing to sell our products and make it in professional manner.
